Radium Girls Audition Information
Calling young performers, ages 12 - 18. Yocum is looking for actors for our February production of D.W. Gregory's Radium Girls.
Auditions: Sunday, December 15th, 5 PM - 8 PM
Audition Details: Each auditionee will be required to sign up for one 1.5 hour time slot. Auditionees will be asked to prepare one of the monologues from below and perform it. Auditionees will also be asked to do cold readings from the script.

In 1926, radium was a miracle cure, Madame Curie an international celebrity, and luminous watches the latest rage—until the girls who painted them began to fall ill with a mysterious disease. Inspired by a true story, Radium Girls traces the efforts of Grace Fryer, a dial painter, as she fights for her day in court. As the case goes on, Grace finds herself battling not just with the U.S. Radium Corporation, but with her own family and friends, who fear that her campaign for justice will backfire. Written with warmth and humor, Radium Girls is a fast-moving, highly theatrical ensemble piece.
