Calling all Musical Theater Singers ages 14-18
Audition Announcement featured performers for Corinna Sowers-Adler’s
“Something Beautiful”
Audition Date/ Time: January 6th at 5:30 PM
Rehearsal Music Director: Jimmy Damore
An opportunity for talented 14-18 year olds to perform with Tony Nominated Teacher,
Corinna Sowers-Adler and live trio of musicians in a Cabaret that will be part of the
Yocum Institute’s Theater Festival.
Show Dates: Saturday, February 12 & Sunday, February 13, 2022
For the Audition Prepare: a short musical theater selection that shows off your ability
the best! Be prepared to sing warm-ups and scales to show range. If you can’t make the
audition, but wish to be considered, you may send a video
to jdamore@yocuminstitute.org by January 5th at 8 PM. Please review the rehearsal
and performance schedule before auditioning.
Rehearsals:
Tuesdays 6-7:30pm, January 11- February 1
Tech week: February 7, 8, 10 & 11 (9th off)
Saturday, Feb. 12th 11:30 – 2:30 tech with band
call at 5pm | show at 7pm
Sunday, Feb. 13th
call at 2pm | show at 3:00 pm
Students will be expected to practice and memorize music on their own.
All rehearsals and performances will be held at the Yocum Institute for Arts Education,
3000 Penn Avenue, West Lawn, PA 19609. Masks will be required through the
rehearsal process regardless of vaccination status.
